This is just some photos of the event at Castle Fraser, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.  June 2008

Steam Traction Engines  

Working as a static engine driving a belt to drive machinery.
In this case it was a saw.

Generating power from the generators to power the lights, they would have powered all the lights on the rides as well.
A very well presented engine
