Anti virus FREEBoth Avast and AVG are good and have free versions.AVG FREE updates every day as opposed to two three times for paid version. AVG FREE 7.5 edition The paid for version AVG8 is around £30 for 2 yrs. (Downloaded). but it scans for rout kits, spy ware, anti-phising, etc. it does a lot more scanning than the FREE version. Avast Free does not update so often. Avast 4 home edition free Norton & some others only updates every week, that is a long time in the computing world! You pay your money (Or not as the case may be) and go with what suits you best. Better to have one on your computer than none whatever you go for.

Hi BoB eh hae AVG 7.5 also AD-WARE 2007 also Spybot Search & Destroy, Spyware Blaster, Windows Defender, all free.
