hey all and thanks for the reply.well my grandpa was named james young one of 9 children to peter and elizabeth (nee black) young married in glasgow(have the wedding cert at home)round 1890's .im not to sure as im working away from home and dont have all the info with me but james was i think the 8th child of 9 out of 5 boys and 4 girls (i think)came to australia on 2 ships .one in 1910 called orvieto and the other in 1912 called the geelong(was called australia but changed)settled in adelaide south australia. peter was born in fochaber i think in 1867 and elizabeth in lossiemouth the same year.would love to know if i have any relatives left and try to get in contact with them as they may have more info.thanks wes young

sorry i think lizabeth was born in garmouth and so was the first child.every child after that was born in lossiemouth .
