Old Photo of Tarlair - MacduffI was here at the weekend.After a short spell where it looked as if it was being looked after again it is looking totally neglected again. The vandals have been at work and the pools (mostly drained but one) are full of rubbish and mud and some sea life! There was also a big sign saying "Keep out! Danger of Land Slides" There had been a few as could be seen, but it was dry so I wondered in anyway! Cars came and the barrier was shifted to let them in  don't know what that was all about. Cars were mostly 4X4 types!
Photo late Fifties early Sixties. Taken by my father or mother. This was on a quiet day, I have seen a photo of it on a busy day
Hundreds of people there!

I climbed it when I was wee ;-) I got to the top and then thought "How on earth am I going to get down?"

I'm afraid I don't have any more info at the moment, but if I get any I will let you know.
