The hill Bennachie is in the background.
There is an old Fort at the top and if you have very keen eyes you might just see the stones at the top forming a band just below the summit.

A big Brown Trout jumped just off shot in this one.
I think it did that just to annoy me

There is a few of them, but no takers.
Caught one early on last month, but too small at 1.5Lbs so put it back.
Not allowed to keep fish until June 1st now and many rivers are catch and return to preserve stocks!!!!
Anglers don't make that much of a difference, it's the super efficient trawlers with their fish sounding equipment that is killing the fish off.

It was the bigger fish, but the other one looked much better.

Thanks, they were taken on a camera phone (that is why the quality is not quite what it should be) and depending on the light and the way you hold the phone it can see more light and colour than the eye can.
