Morning, all. Thank you for the welcome.
My Scottish connections are parental - my mum's side of the family. She was born and lived around Falkirk/Laurieston/Grangemouth until just before the war, when the family moved down to north London. She's long since lost any trace of the Scots tongue, as has her sister, the only exception being when they're talking to one another!
I just love to holiday up there.
