I may have posted this before, but on talking to an emergency service worker it is not being used very often.
Many people don't do this yet and it dissapoints the emergency services.
Maybe people just don't know they check mobile phones.

IN Case of Emergency  - I.C.E.

A point raised by the FIRE SERVICE.
In accidents that they attend they always check for mobile phones.
They scroll down the contacts to the “I” section and look for I.C.E (which sands for "In Case of Emergency".

List your nearest and dearest as I.C.E. 1, I.C.E. 2 etc.

Also, if you need to bring something to their attention like special blood group or a disorder, you should list this in one of these locations.
Preferably the first I.C.E. location i.e. I.C.E. 1

It may save your life someday.
